The rms value of current in the supply is nearly,                          A.        1.7   A                          B.        2.05 A                          C.        2.5   A                          D.         25.1 A                                            ANSWER :                                                                                                                                      ANSWER - C SOLUTION: CAPACITIVE REACTANCE: Capacitive reactance of a capacitor is the effective  resistance  offered by the capacitor to the flow of current through it. RMS VALUE OF THE CURRENT:

What is torque? List the differences between horsepower and torque

Image
TORQUE: Torque is a winding power (twisting force) follows up on an article that produces revolution of an item and is given by the cross result ( product ) of position vector and the force vector. DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HORSEPOWER AND TORQUE: HORSE POWER: Power is the numerical item. Power is determined from torque and RPM Pull (Horsepowe r) is the proportion of motor's general performance across all conditions. Pull  (Horsepower) resembles the volume of a sound system. Pull  (Horsepower ) and force (torque) are set by the designers renting execution against superb eco-friendliness. Pull  (Horsepower) and torque  are identified with each other. TORQUE : Torque  is estimation of contorting power and is a part of pull. The measure of force (torque) that motor can apply relies upon motor's RPM . Torque  is the estimation of the most extreme winding power when it is going about its hardest responsibilities. Torque resembles the bass attributes in a sound system. Torque le

Can we accelerate neutron by cyclotron? Give reason

Image
Would we be able to speed up neutron by cyclotron? ANSWER: We can't speed up neutron by cyclotron. ABOUT CYCLOTRON The cyclotron was perhaps the earliest sort of particle accelerator and is as yet utilized as the primary phase of some huge multi-stage particle accelerators.Cyclotron comprises of two metallic empty chambers which are called Dees. An alternating voltage is applied between the two dees and furthermore a cross magnetic field is applied. ABOUT NEUTRON Neutron is a rudimentary molecule, which has no charge and its mass is somewhat more than the mass of a proton. Neutrons being unbiased, they are not repelled or drawn in by the core(nucleus) and the electrons of a molecule. REASON Cyclotron is a device used to speed up(accelerate) charged particles. Cyclotron chips away at the rule that a charged particle moving typical to a magnetic field encounters magnetic Lorentz force because of which the particle moves in a roundabout way and subsequently speeds up it. Since a neutr

What is motional emf? Factors on which it depends & expression for motional emf

Image
MOTIONAL EMF : The emf actuated across the closures of a conductor because of its movement in a magnetic field is called motional emf. PFACTORS ON WHICH THE  MOTIONAL EMF DEPENDS: 1. Uniform magnetic field (B) 2. Velocity of the conductor moving in the U-moulded leading rails.(v) 3. Length of the conductor. (L) DERIVE AN EXPRESSION FOR THE MOTIONAL EMF INDUCED IN A CONDUCTOR  DESCRIPTION: Conductor PQ of length L is allowed to continue on a U-moulded leading rails. (Here the slidable conductor PQ is moved outwards with a speed v).When the conductor moved outwards the space of the rectangular circle increments and consequently the attractive transition connected with the shut circle increments. Thus, the magnetic flux linked with the closed-loop increases. An emf is set up across the conductor PQ due to which an initiated current stream in the anticlockwis e course (as displayed in the image).According to Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction the emf incited is - BLv MAGNETIC
